Beth has a decade of experience in the breast cancer sector, providing her with a profound understanding of the patient journey and a deep commitment to positive patient outcomes. Before her corporate and entrepreneurial ventures, Beth excelled as a Division I gymnast on a full athletic scholarship at the University of Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the College of Health and Human Performance. Her diverse background equips her with a unique perspective and passion for making a difference in the lives of others, particularly within the House of Nipple community.
Dr. Cecilia Rusnak is a nationally recognized Primary Care Physician in the state of Florida, Acupuncture Physician, Paramedical Aesthetician, Medical Tattoo Specialist, and entrepreneur with over three decades of experience in integrative medicine, aesthetics, and advanced restorative therapies. She is the founder of AcuMedGroup Wellness Center, Healing Skin Medical Aesthetics, Dr. Rusnak Wellness Skincare, and Dr. Rusnak Academy, where she has combined her clinical expertise with education, innovation, and patient advocacy.
As a pioneer in scar revision, 3D areola tattooing, and integrative skin health, Dr. Rusnak has trained professionals across the country, equipping them with advanced skills in paramedical tattooing and holistic aesthetics. Her work bridges Eastern and Western practices, empowering patients with non-invasive alternatives for pain management, recovery, and confidence restoration.
Dr. Rusnak is the recipient of multiple awards, including Doctor of the Year 2025 by Orlando Style Magazine, the Josco Award for Health 2025, and the PMU Woman of Color Beauty Business Innovator Award 2025. With over 25 years in retail and fashion, Kim is a seasoned leader known for driving growth, innovation, and strong partnerships. She spent 15 years at Weathervane Stores as Director of Operations, leading global systems development, training, and marketing strategy, followed by 15 years at Jade Marketing Group in leadership roles spanning sales, design, and brand development. Her expertise in trend forecasting, merchandising, and account management consistently delivered solutions that helped retail partners adapt and thrive.
An ovarian cancer survivor, Kim brings resilience, gratitude, and purpose to both her personal and professional life. She is also a dedicated community advocate, coordinating fundraising events for a local private school and supporting a nonprofit horse farm offering equine therapy. Outside of work, Kim enjoys cooking, hosting, and creating meaningful connections.
Whitney Young, MD, is a fellowship-trained breast surgical oncologist specializing in the surgical treatment of breast cancers and benign breast diseases. She provides a range of services, including breast-conserving surgery and mastectomies, collaborating closely with plastic surgeons to offer both skin-sparing and nipple-sparing techniques for patients undergoing surgery for cancer treatment or risk reduction due to genetic predisposition.
A native of Connecticut, Dr. Young completed her General Surgery training at Brown University before pursuing a Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She currently practices at MidState Medical Center in Meriden, Connecticut, where she is dedicated to delivering compassionate and expert care to her patients.
Anna Gatewood, PA-C, has been delivering comprehensive and compassionate care as a Physician Assistant in Middletown for 20 years, initially in Family Practice and Internal Medicine. For the past 15 years, she has leveraged her expertise as both a Medical Director and lead PA at two successful vein centers. In addition to her clinical roles, Anna has trained clinicians in vein procedures across Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Joe earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut and previously served as Vice President at Liberty Bank Investment Services. He began his career as Senior Manager with MAXIMUS Inc.
An active community member, Joe serves on the advisory board of the Main Street Foundation Men & Boys Fund, is President of the Bristol Central All Sports Booster Club, and is a member of the Bristol Elks Lodge. He has also held leadership roles with McCabe Waters Little League, Southington Rotary Club, and Tau Kappa Epsilon Alumni Association at UConn.
Jenny O’Connor brings over a decade of dedicated experience in nonprofit and community work, with a strong focus on foundation grant management. She has collaborated with esteemed organizations, including the Barnes Foundation, the Main Street Community Foundation, and various nonprofits across central Connecticut.
As a birth doula and community liaison at Empowered Beginnings in Hamden, CT, Jenny finds fulfillment in championing women’s advocacy and empowerment initiatives. Her passion for women’s wellness, combined with years of experience in the tattoo industry alongside Maria at Industrial Strength LLC, makes her especially enthusiastic about contributing to HON’s mission.
Jenny, her husband Tim, and their children, Henry and Phoebe, enjoy traveling in their RV, quoting movie lines, and hosting impromptu karaoke and dance parties wherever the road takes them.
